As Supervisor of the Office of Environment (OE) in the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) a Bureau in the Department of the Interior Gulf of Mexico Region, Dr. Arie Roth Kaller’s work focuses on ensuring that activities for conventional and renewable energy and marine minerals in the Gulf of Mexico are done in an environmentally responsible manner. A New Orleans native with a PhD in Oceanography and Coastal Sciences (Louisiana State University), a Master of Biology (Southeastern Louisiana University), and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science/Biology (University of Alabama), Dr. Kaller is also a passionate supporter of the Dress for Success New Orleans, a non profit which provides a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and life. Currently, the Vice President, Dr. Kaller is proud to see a new workforce of women be supported and hopes to serve the organization for many years to come.
