Arnaud’s Restaurant Partners with Mardi Gras World for Weekend Long Valentine’s Offering, Feb. 12-14

Image001NEW ORLEANS (press release) – It’s sure to be a festive February with the marriage of two beloved holidays, Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day. And while Carnival Season will look a bit different this year, Arnaud’s is making it easy for diners looking to impress their special someone.

Arnaud’s Restaurant is teaming up with Mardi Gras World to offer a unique, one-of-a-kind float flower as an add-on to the restaurant’s seven-course Valentine’s Tasting Menu, available nightly Feb. 12-14. The optional add-on is also available for those planning to enjoy offerings from Arnaud’s a la carte menu.

To give the gift of a float flower and support a local artist, diners must pre-order the add-on by calling Arnaud’s at (504) 523-5433 by noon, Wednesday, Feb. 10. Payment of $25 is required for the custom flowers upon ordering, with proceeds to benefit Mardi Gras World and its local artists.

Full table participation is required for Arnaud’s seven-course Valentine’s Tasting Menu, priced at $75.00 per person (exclusive of tax and service charge). The special offering will feature:

Souffle Potatoes

With Béarnaise Sauce

 

Second Course

Shrimp Arnaud

A demi portion of our signature dish

Gulf shrimp marinated in our famous tangy Creole Remoulade Sauce

 

Third Course

Turtle Soup

With Sherry

 

Fourth Course

Gulf Fish Amandine

Sautéed demi fillet topped with almonds and Lemon Butter Sauce, and alongside haricots verts

 

Fifth Course

Plaquemines Honeybell Tangerine Sorbet

Optional shot of vodka available

Charged on consumption

Sixth Course

Veal Chantal

Sautéed and served in Wild Mushroom Sauce with savory risotto

 

Seventh Course

Coffee and Beignets

Traditional beignets served with a coffee Brandy Alexander

The restaurant is open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday – Saturday. Sunday Jazz Brunch is served from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended due to limited availability.
