NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Outta This World Family Fest, an all-day family-friendly event that will not only lift off a celestial Mardi Gras house float that Art Camp 504 kids built, but will also include local food, music, dancing, vendors and galactic art workshops for kids of all ages. Tickets may be purchased in advance here for a discount or at the door.
The event is expected to be attended by 250 adults and little earthlings with special performances by Crescent Circus, LSD Clownsystem and The Pepper ‘n Michot Cajun Band.
Art Camp 504 is a non-profit organization offering year-round after school art programming to New Orleans area kids. Not only are the classes run by working local artists, but 30% of campers are able to attend thanks to scholarships, giving young creatives an enriching, rewarding experience that they would otherwise not have the opportunity to access. The funds raised at the Outta This World Family Fest will go directly to Art Camp 504’s scholarship fund and its creative curriculum.
