NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Presents ART FOR ARTS SAKE on Magazine Street on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.! Locals and visitors are invited to this one night only event, with over 100 businesses providing FREE white wine and many offering special deals, promotional sales, art or trunk shows, and even live music. Shops will extend their hours until 9pm, and the event is FREE and open to the public. Art for Arts Sake brings tens of thousands of shoppers out in search of deals, drinks, and a chance to support businesses on Magazine Street.

Magazine Street, New Orleans’ fastest growing shopping and entertainment district, is a six mile long stretch with a diverse array of businesses, shops, restaurants, galleries, and neighborhood residences. The Magazine Street Merchants Association is a coalition of business located on or near New Orleans’ Magazine Street corridor. The Association was founded to support businesses on Magazine Street, but has grown into an organization that works every day to promote Magazine Street as one of New Orleans’ most vibrant and valued business and cultural districts.
