NEW ORLEANS (press release) – In celebration of the Food & Wine festival in New Orleans, M.S. Rau – at 622 Royal St. in the French Quarter – will be hosting a free wine and art pairing event that is open to the public on Saturday, June 14, from noon to 3 p.m.

M.S. Rau shared it has teamed up with Leslie Pariseau, the owner of Patron Saint wine shop and bar, to create curated pairings that tie in with the gallery’s iconic works by the likes of Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Paul Gauguin.

In addition, M.S. Rau boasts many historic and rare items that revolve around food, wine and spirits, such as a Georgian silver wine funnel, Wedgewood black Basalt water and wine urns, Edward VII’s wine cooler, Czar Alexander III’s Russian Imperial punch set, a tea pot made by Paul Revere, and more. They believe anyone who enjoys food and wine will want to learn about these very special offerings.
