ARTmazing Gallery Opens its Doors in the French Quarter

Artmazing 01

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Founded by local artist Giselle Monteiro, the ARTmazing Gallery is a larger-than-life 6,000-square-foot pop art exhibition and events space in the French Quarter that provides an immersive experience for locals and tourists alike. Encouraged to become part of the art itself, visitors will enjoy 17 uniquely themed installations and Instagrammable rooms curated to inspire and showcase creativity, excitement and innovation.

After encountering an interactive gallery for herself in NYC, Monteiro was inspired to share the magic with New Orleans.

“I saw it, fell in love with it and thought we needed something like it in New Orleans — an experience that is just as magical and unique as our city,” said Monteiro. “It’s been a labor of love making it all come to life, and I hope the gallery serves as a bright, joyful spot for people during an otherwise rocky year.”

The interactive nature of the gallery aims to let guests unleash their imaginations and free their inner artist. ARTmazing is filled with creative photo-ops and extravagant experiences, including the Millionaire’s Room, which features a money rain that offers guests the chance to twirl around while surrounded by a million dollars. The Rainbow installation is another hands-on exhibit where visitors are invited to paint on canvases to create their own unique piece of art. The art will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be donated to local charity  BYOBikes.

The art installations will evolve with the seasons, so expect a surprise for the upcoming holidays. ARTmazing Gallery welcomes all ages and is open to the public Thursday – Sunday from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Admission is $25 and available for purchase  at  www.artmazinggallery.com. For private or corporate events and photoshoots, contact the gallery at sales@artmazinggallery.com. For a calendar of ongoing special events visit the website.
