ATLAS:EARTH Brings The Atlas Games to Haunted New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – ATLAS:EARTH, the mobile rewards app turning gameplay into real-world earnings, has released the second episode of its new YouTube series, “The Atlas Games.” Following the successful premiere filmed in Austin, the series now heads to New Orleans, America’s most haunted city, for a special Halloween edition titled “Playing Haunted Jenga with Ghosts” that premiered on Saturday, Oct. 25. Watch the episode here

The Atlas Games series brings ATLAS:EARTH’s “earn while you play” philosophy into real-world entertainment, featuring contestants cast directly from the app’s community competing in creative, unpredictable challenges for real cash prizes. Each episode is filmed in a different city and varies in theme and format, but the mission stays the same: make money while being entertained.

Episode 2: “Playing Haunted Jenga with Ghosts”

Filmed in one of New Orleans’ most haunted locations, Napoleon House, Episode 2 blends storytelling with eerie, high-energy competition. Four ATLAS:EARTH players from the New Orleans community were selected to face off in a series of Halloween-inspired mini-games designed to heighten tension through paranormal themes, sabotage mechanics, and ghost-hunting tools. Before each challenge, a local medium read the energy of the room, setting a chilling tone for the night’s games, including:

  • Haunted Jenga: Contestants took turns pulling blocks from a towering Jenga stack as strange happenings unfolded around them.
  • Water Overflow Jug Challenge: Contestants poured cups of water into a central jug rigged with a weight sensor and glowing pedestal, while using one-time sabotage cards to throw competitors off, such as “pour with a Halloween mask on” or “stand on one foot.”

With $10,000 in cash prizes on the line, players tested their luck, nerves, and balance through every ghostly encounter.

“New Orleans is one of the most unique, spirited cities in the world,” said Sami Khan, CEO of ATLAS:EARTH, who is originally from New Orleans. “We wanted to bring The Atlas Games here not just because of its haunted history, but because it represents what our series is all about: great local energy, and creating experiences that are as entertaining as they are rewarding.”

Local contestant Mallory Morphy, one of the four ATLAS:EARTH players featured in the episode, said the experience was unforgettable.
