Robert Tannen is a local artist and organizer of Art House on the Levee; he has promoted the visual arts in New Orleans for many years. In his latest venture, Tannen is renovating a double shotgun in New Orleans' lower Ninth Ward to educate people about art and highlight its importance in our lives. This art studio, called The Art House on the Levee, will host a family day on Saturday, November 26, 2011. The free event will feature music, games, prizes, art making and many other activities. Robert describes the interactive, family-centered event and talks about the rich world of art that infuses New Orleans' culture with energy and vitality. Listen here!
