With the opening of its Emergency Center in January 2023, Eden Centers for Hope and Healing, a residential sanctuary for victims of labor and sex trafficking, created the first trafficking shelter in the country to partner with and be housed on a hospital campus. With their partner LCMC Health, Eden Centers will be expanding this facility in 2024, offering beds to male survivors along with counseling and other services to help them transition from tragedy to self-sufficiency.
