New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to constructing and repairing affordable housing throughout the Greater New Orleans region. Their mission is to partner with low-income, hard-working families, providing safe and affordable homes, providing home repairs, operating an intern and apprenticeship program, and a ReStore, an outlet open to the public selling furniture, building materials, and more. By mobilizing volunteers and donors, they work towards building a stronger community.
