For nearly 15 years, Lyrica Baroque has served New Orleans with a single overriding mission: uniting communities through chamber music. Since 2009, the non-profit organization has steadfastly supported New Orleans musicians, educators, artists, institutions, and audiences through education, collaboration, and performance of chamber music.
Three-time winner of Best Chamber Music Performance in Gambit’s Tribute to the Classical Arts, Lyrica Baroque’s core values center around the belief that music performed at the highest level of artistic excellence has the power to ignite, uplift, and heal communities. Lyrica Baroque regularly organizes a range of events, including community concerts and classical music festivals, while also presenting educational programs centered around utilizing chamber music to stimulate social-emotional learning in schools and help develop students’ means of expression.
