A foundational supporter of the Louisiana State Museum since 1956, Friends of Cabildo is a 501C-3 non-profit organization that works with the museum to provide comprehensive and sustained educational, historical, and cultural resources that celebrate Louisiana for locals and tourists alike. Through offering volunteer walking tours, upkeep of the Louisiana Museum 1850 House Museum Store, and hosting a year-long concert series, Friends of Cabildo is able to celebrate history while allowing for enriched learning that will last a lifetime.Â
