NEW ORLEANS (press release) – BABs, the casually sophisticated culinary haven from nationally acclaimed Chef Nina Compton and husband/partner Larry Miller, is pleased to partner with Garrison Brothers Distillery, a family-owned bourbon distillery producing Texas straight bourbon. Chef Compton has created a special four-course menu especially created to pair with Garrison Brothers’ distinctive bourbons. The event will take place on Thursday, March 21, from 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Head Bartender Rick Powanda has created innovative specialty cocktails featuring Garrison Brothers spirits designed to complement Chef Compton’s dishes. The menu, priced at $100 per person (excluding tax) follows:

Pork Belly with Ceci Bean Puree and Rosemary Jus

Dark and complex bourbon with notes of amaretto, coffee, and pecan

Braciole with Creamy Polenta

Notes of bruleed banana with funky, grassy notes on the end
