Avoid appointments and crowds and you might just find the perfect dress from a designer collection at one of the national luxury retailers, such as Neiman Marcus Last Call or Saks Fifth Avenue. To prove it to you, we scouted two Badgley Mischka dresses from the respective stores as our Designer of the Week looks. Badgley Mischka has been a prominent figure in the fashion industry for the past two decades. The brand is known for its intricate detailing, amazing use of color and sophisticated style. Though the designers release only one bridal line a year, there are beautiful and distinctive options in the pair's three runway lines. If you are looking for color or a different bridal silhouette, these easy-to-shop designs are the perfect option.
Look 1
Badgley Mischka Sequin Cowl-Back Gown in Gold
From Saks Fifth Avenue
The perfect look for an art gallery wedding or a hotel black-tie affair.
Because the dress makes such a statement, we don’t suggest going too overboard with hair and makeup. A simple eye with a bold red lip accented with a large curl or wave hairstyle will look impeccable.
This look matches flawlessly with the gold sequins and cowl-back.
Try this makeup for other wedding events with the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Long-Wear Lip Colour in La Sensuelle and La Petillante.
You can also try going a little larger with the curls and add in a few extensions to give it that extra volume it needs.
For flowers and accent colors, bold is better. A rich, earthy color much like Marsala, the Color of the Year, (which we blogged about yesterday)will top of this elegant look.

Look 2
Badgley Mischka Beaded-Collar Jacquard Gown
Metallic with a color blocking effect and V back and a full A-line skirt, fitted to the natural waist with cap sleeves.
Match this look with an outdoor garden wedding or an evening party at the country club.
This sweet dress deserves a pretty, airy up-do. Add in a few braids and pull it all together with a low bun.
Keep the makeup fresh-faced as well. Add a light pink to your lip color to give your look a pop of color.
We suggest another Chanel lip color, (Because who doesn’t love Chanel in any form?) but this time in a pretty, pale pink.
The flowers should of course follow suite and bring the entire look together. These bouquets will add a delicateness to the ensemble.
