NEW ORLEANS (press release) – During the entire month of December, guests can enjoy the Bah Humbug Bar Takeover at The Bower Bar. Christmas-themed décor will fill the bar and span out onto the covered, heated patio.
Beverage Director Mickey Mullins has a lineup of holiday cocktails served in specialty seasonal glassware, including the Magazine Street Miracle with bourbon, banana liqueur, and walnut bitters, the Christmas Cosmo with satsuma vodka, house grenadine, triple sec and lime, Scrooge’s Cider with 360 red delicious apples, spiced rum, and warm house-made apple cider. Also available will be the Hallmark Christmas Classic, The Bower’s rendition of a frozen bourbon pumpkin spice latte, and a delicious frozen Eggnog Daiquiri. Other cocktails include Nightmare Before Christmas, Leave Me at The Plaza Hotel, and The Merry Mensch.
Bower Bah Humbug will be open during regular operating hours: Monday-Thursday 4-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday 4-10 p.m., and Sunday 3-9 p.m. Guests can make reservations for the bar and patio by calling or online.
