NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Barracuda will be adding some new seasonal items to the menu, launching a new happy hour dubbed “Deluxe Nacho Hour” and introducing a lunch combo perfect for your every day cravings!
The $5 “Deluxe Nacho Hour” will officially launch on National Queso Day on Sept. 20. The happy hour will run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every Monday through Friday, as well as whenever the Saints are playing. The happy hour menu standout is the Ballpark Style Nachos, which include queso, creamy salsa verde, crema, pickles, pepitas and cilantro. Additionally, happy hour will feature Queso & Chips, Guacamole Tostada and rotating special tacos and pitcher deals. The happy hour drink menu includes a $5 classic margarita, $4 Micheladas, $3 Modelo and $5 for red, white or rosé house wine.
The new seasonal, rotating menu items include new sides that can be modified for vegetarians and vegans including Esquites (street corn in a cup); Guacamole Tostada; and a Little Chopped Salad. Menu items will also feature optional queso add-ons, and homemade chorizo, chopped brisket, and grilled mushroom options.
Lastly, Barracuda recently launched their lunch combos, which include two tacos of your choice, chips and salsa, and iced tea or an agua fresca for $10.
All of Barracuda’s menu items only use naturally raised meats featuring Creekstone beef, Springer Mtn. Farms chicken, and Duroc pork. As always, Barracuda serves their tacos on Sonoran-style thin flour tortillas and blue corn tortillas that are made fresh daily.
