Supporters of the historic Beauregard-Keyes House were treated to a French Quarter fête with music and mingling in the restored courtyard and garden.
For 75 years of stewardship and architectural services, Beauregard-Keyes House extends a special thanks to Koch & Wilson Architects under the direction of Samuel Wilson Jr., FAIA, from 1945-1993, and Robert J. Cangelosi Jr., AIA, since 1994, for careful supervision of the façade and dependency restorations.
The evening began with the Last Straws welcoming guests on the front gallery. Guests were treated to a lovely Sunday supper feast provided by Palate New Orleans and enjoyed dancing to Bon Bon Vivant in the historic and newly restored courtyard, made possible through grants from the New Orleans Town Gardeners. The parterre garden has been maintained for decades through grants and support provided by the Garden Study Club of New Orleans. Both spaces are maintained by NOLA+Design.
Vice President of the Board Larry Schmidt provided the lush decor, including greenery foraged from the property and from friends.
Chairs of the event were Board Member Hal Williamson and Dale LeBlanc, both French Quarter residents.
