One of the most precious assets to our region is the abundance of plant life – we’re known for lush, tropical landscapes, colorful flowers and a variety of trees that beautify the area.

Parkway Partners works to improve green space for all New Orleanians, and since Hurricane Katrina the members and volunteers have worked extra diligently to revitalize and improve the green spaces in Greater New Orleans.
The annual Parkway Partners Feast took place on October 31 at Gallier Hall, and was co-chaired by Brandon Duncan
and Chanel Jolly.

Preceding the main event was an evening patron party at Gallery Bienvenu on October 27 that honored founder Flo Schornstein.

“Feast with the Stars” was sponsored by Chevron and featured a grand selection of delectable food and drinks from local restaurants.

A nonprofit organization established in 1982, Parkway Partners receives no direct funding from city government and relies on its generous volunteers and donations from concerned citizens.
