Darlene Cusanza is president and CEO of CRIMESTOPPERS. CRIMESTOPPERS is an international organization; our local CRIMESTOPPERS was founded in 1981. According to Darlene, CRIMESTOPPERS in New Orleans is very much a grassroots organization that receives little funding from big corporations. She describes how CRIMESTOPPERS works and explains how the identity of those who assist CRIMESTOPPERS is never known, not even to CRIMESTOPPERS itself.
