Beignet Fest Foundation Launches New “Mission Message” T-Shirt

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Beignet Fest Foundation announced the launch of a new “mission message” t-shirt, they say designed to celebrate the beauty, strength and individuality of people on the autism spectrum. The new shirt is now available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the foundation’s year-round programs, including Benny’s S.O.S. (Sensory On-Site Spaces), which provides sensory respite areas at public events, and Camp Benny, a summer day camp tailored for children with autism and developmental differences.

This limited-edition t-shirt features a bold and affirming design that reflects the foundation’s ongoing mission to celebrate, embrace and empower children with autism and their families. By wearing this shirt, supporters can show their pride in neurodiversity while directly contributing to impactful, inclusive programming in the Greater New Orleans area.

“Our mission is rooted in building a world where children with autism are celebrated, supported, and included,” said Sherwood Collins, executive director of the Beignet Fest Foundation. “This new shirt provides a way for everyone to spread awareness, foster community pride, and generate critical funding for the services families count on.”

The “mission message” t-shirt is available online and at select community events throughout the year where Benny’s S.O.S. will be provided. All purchases directly support the Beignet Fest Foundation.
