NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) announced the return of global bounce music icon Big Freedia for a concert experience on Friday, Sept. 26, at 8 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater.
This performance marks the third collaboration between Big Freedia and the LPO, following two successful sold-out shows in 2023 and 2024. The 2023 concert resulted in a critically-acclaimed live album, now available on all major streaming platforms. Organizers share this upcoming event promises to once again blend the raw energy of bounce with the grandeur of symphonic sound in a truly unique New Orleans spectacle.
