NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Tree Project announced another Big TREEsy giveaway.
On Saturday, Jan. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to noon Orleans Parish residents can head to Audubon Louisiana Nature Center at 11000 Lake Forest Blvd. The organization says all parish residents are welcomed, not limited to district residents, but must provided a picture ID.
The Big TREESy giveaway includes 300 free trees, offering 1 free tree per household, with 35 types of trees available. Plus, the organization will host a tree planting workshop.
