NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Blue Cypress Books is hosting a story time series with storyteller Mr. Cole Sheehy in 2025. Each storytime will include multiple stories followed by activities. Story time with Mr. Cole will take place on the second Sunday of each month. For clarity storytime will take place on the following dates:
- Sunday, Jan. 12 – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 9 – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sunday, March 9 – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sunday, April 13 – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sunday, May 11 – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sunday, June 8 – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
These events are free and open to the public and will take place at the bookstore, located at 8123 Oak St.
Mr. Cole Sheehy is a long-time storyteller who has been doing story time programs across the city of New Orleans for over eight years. Blue Cypress Books says his shamelessly boisterous story times are full of laughter, singing and, of course, books!
