NEW ORLEANS (press release) –  Boys Town Louisiana’s  2026 Spirit of Youth Gala returns Friday, March 20. The event will take place at The Arbor Room at Popp Fountain in New Orleans City Park and is a joyful evening dedicated to celebrating the bright futures young people are building through Boys Town Louisiana and the families, friends and supporters who help make their success possible.

The Spirit of Youth Awards Gala will support Boys Town Louisiana’s mission to provide life-changing care and services to children and families across the state. The evening will feature dinner, live music, craft cocktails, mocktails and program highlights showcasing the impact of Boy Town Louisiana’s work.

As part of the event, Boys Town Louisiana will recognize two 2026 Spirit of Youth Honorees whose leadership and service reflect a deep commitment to children and families:

  • Lucio A. Fragoso, President and CEO of Manning Family Children’s will receive the individual Spirit of Youth Award for his longtime dedication to improving the health and wellbeing of children throughout Louisiana.

“As we look ahead to this year’s Spirit of Youth Awards Gala, we are excited to gather our community around a shared commitment to supporting children and families,” said Rashain Carriere-Williams, executive director of Boys Town Louisiana. “This event is both a celebration and a reminder than when a community comes together, we can create meaningful opportunities and brighter futures for youth people.
