NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Chef Edgar Caro and partner Antonio Mata of the Caro Mata Group are pleased to announce that Brasa South American Steakhouse, located in Canal Place, will offer a wine dinner featuring Charles Krug Winery and hosted by Peter Mondavi Jr. on Thursday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. The five-course dinner with wine pairings is $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Chef Caro has crafted a menu showcasing South American cuisine’s rich culinary traditions. Mondavi will be on hand to guide guests through the feast expertly paired with Charles Krug Winery’s characteristically intense wines. “We’re thrilled to offer this special evening with one of the leading winemakers in the industry,” said Caro. “Guests will enjoy learning from Peter, who will share tasting notes and the history behind each wine.” Founded in 1861, Charles Krug Winery was the first winery established in California’s Napa Valley.
