Best of Weddings

The Degas House — the historic museum house, bed and breakfast, and once-home of French Impressionist painter Edgar Degas — has been honored with the prestigious “Best of Weddings” award from The Knot for the 10th year in a row. This year’s award coincides with the 150th anniversary of Degas’ visit to New Orleans and to the Degas House. In addition to its rich history — it’s one of only two houses in the United States designated to have “French Landmark Status” — the Degas House is popular for weddings and offers an exclusive Dressing of the Bride experience that includes a suite for the bride-to-be and her bridal party the night before the event, a Creole breakfast and more. degashouse.com
