April is proving to be a busy month in the bridal fashion world. Not only is Bridal Fashion Week starting strong in New York this week, but there are also a few trunk shows popping up around the city (and beyond).
Through April 11, Town and Country Bridal is hosting a Wona Concept trunk show. “WONÁ believes that women are muses and aims to create dresses that embody their most intimate and extravagant desires,” shared the Town & Country website about the designer. This show is highlighting two of Wona Concept’s newest collections in the store. Special incentives and pricing will be applied throughout the event, which is by appointment only. An appointment can be made online here.
On Sunday, April 7, Town and Country’s sister store Linen Jolie Bridal will host a bridal gown Sample Sale. The boutique touts this as the store’s biggest event of the year, which will have select gowns up to 75 percent off. Space is limited and appointments can be booked online here.
April 12 will also kick off a busy time for the New Orleans bridal world, as both I Do Bridal Couture’s Baton Rouge boutique, as well as Wedding Belles on Magazine Street will both host trunk shows.
I Do is hosting the Monique Lhuillier Fall 2024 collection on April 12 and 13. (Kelly here: Monique Lhuillier is my favorite bridal designer and the fall 2024 collection is nothing short of gorgeous. The necklines, lace and flower appliqué are quintessential ML and there is a style for everyone. Not a show to be missed, in my humble opinion.) Appointments can be booked online here.
Starting April 12, Wedding Belles Uptown will host a Rebecca Schoneveld trunk show. The boutique says of the show, “Rebecca’s collection is anchored in classical design but always looking to what is culturally and fashionably current. Each design carefully balances restraint, sensuality and fun, allowing the wearer to shine through as her unique individual self.” The show is by appointment only, which can be made online here.
And finally, Town and Country Bridal will see a second trunk show this month. The store is hosting an Eva Lendel trunk show starting April 18 – May 2. “Charm, mystery, sensuality and romance,” are all the words the boutique uses to describe the designs of this collection. Brides can shop the newest collection of gowns, with special incentives and pricing applied, by booking an appointment online here.
