The New Orleans bridal community is abuzz with big bridal boutique sales and a local hotel landing on a national list.
First up, The Bridal Boutique By MaeMe on Severn Avenue in Metairie is hosting a sale through Friday. The store is selling 150 gowns for $500 from sizes 8 to 30. With this amount of options, any bride is sure to find her dream dress. Appointments are required, and you can call the store at 504-266-2771 to book.
Bliss Bridal, NOLA has extended its sample sale through April 20. Also $500, the sample sale includes sample accessories for under $100. All sales are final, and an appointment is required. You can call the store at 504-592-7507.
In National news, Conde Nast Traveler unveiled its annual “Hot List.” Each year, the Hot List recognizes the best new hotels in the world and this year, out of 75 winners, New Orleans’ Hotel Peter & Paul made the list. The editors and contributors at Conde Nast Traveler go through hundreds of hotels that have opened their doors that year. “Most of these openings are…perfectly fine,” the company says in an article about the release. “But only a fraction are what we’d call ‘hot.’” The hotels that have been selected for the list are “the absolute best of the best: the game changing, boundary pushing, vacation-making openings” that are so amazing the team is already dreaming of going back. The list includes hotels from South Africa to the Maldives and all that’s in between. The Hotel Peter & Paul was one of 16 picks from the United States.
