Newly engaged brides or brides still trying to find the perfect dress have a few shopping options via various trunk show events popping up around the city and beyond.
First, Town & Country Bridal on St. Charles Avenue is hosting an Eva Lendel trunk show through Feb. 1. The styles highlighted are classic, sleek and modern looks with simple silhouettes and unadorned fabrics. The bridal boutique also has a Toni Federici veil trunk show ending Jan. 30. For more information on both shows and to book an appointment, visit townandcountrybridal.com.
Heading a little beyond the New Orleans, I Do Bridal Couture has trunk show events at both the Baton Rouge and Covington locations. The Baton Rouge store is hosting a Beccar Couture trunk show Friday, Jan. 29, through Saturday, Feb. 6. Additionally, the Covington location will host a Toni Federici Veil trunk show Feb. 5-28, as well as a Rivini and Alyne by Rivini Fall and Spring 2021 double trunk show next weekend Feb. 5-6.
Interested brides can head to idobridalcouture.com to book their necessary appointment.
Finally, though Carnival – or lack thereof – is invading everyone’s minds right now, we can’t forget that Valentine’s Day is also just around the corner. Local company NOLA Boards has released a few new products perfect for celebrating the holiday. Our favorite new offering is the Picnic Gift Set. NOLA Boards is known for its custom cutting boards but pairing the new nautical picnic blanket with Piety & Desire locally-made chocolate an excellent addition to a backyard Valentine’s day date or socially-distant picnic in City Park, Audubon or your favorite neighborhood greenspace.
The blanket comes with a waterproof lining and four picnic stakes to make sure you’re set no matter the location of your date.
