Bridal Buzz: Wedding Dress Trunk Shows in New Orleans and Beyond

Making Final Touch On Tailor Made Gown In Bridal Shop

Fall bridal events are plentiful – and boutiques are ensuring that they are COVID-19 safe – with no signs of slowing down. Five local bridal boutiques have announced trunk show opportunities for  brides looking to say, “Yes!” to the dress.

First, Halloween weekend offers two trunk shows. The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe has a Stella York trunk show scheduled Friday, Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at the Severn Avenue location. According to the boutique’s announcement of the show, brides will get to see never-before-seen Stella York gowns in store.

Additionally, Wedding Belles New Orleans on Magazine Street has the second weekend of the Modern Trousseau Curvy Collection trunk show in the store.

Each trunk show is by appointment only and can be booked online or by calling the stores.

In November, both I Do Bridal Couture’s Baton Rouge and Covington locations and Town & Country Bridal on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans are hosting bridal events.

I Do Bridal Couture Covington is hosting a Savannah Miller Trunk Show Nov. 13-21, with the newest styles from the brand in the store.

Next, I Do Bridal Couture’s flagship Baton Rouge store is hosting the Dany Tabet “Emerge” Collection Trunk Show Nov. 20-28. I Do noted that this is a designer they have never had in the store and they are excited for local brides to see the collection.

Finally, Town & Country Bridal on St. Charles Avenue is also hosting a never-before-seen collection from Martina Liana Nov. 20-21. The gowns are part of a preview show and will not be available to any other bridal stores or the public for another year.

Each store requires appointments for the shows. Book appointments online.
