Over the past few months the coronavirus pandemic has thrown the wedding industry for a loop. However, as we enter the second week of Phase 1 reopenings with our eyes on entering Phase 2, more bridal stores are doing their best to help brides continue their planning and finally say, “yes” to their dream dress. Bridal boutiques from the Greater New Orleans area have announced trunk shows, collection previews and special celebrations for this week and beyond.
The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe in Metairie announced the celebration of the store’s 9th anniversary across its social media platforms. During the first week of June (through June 6) each bride who purchases a gown will receive a gift and be entered into a drawing to receive a $500 credit. Under the Phase 1 protocols, each bride has to book an appointment before coming into the store, must wear a mask and is only allowed two guests. Wedding Belles NOLA on Magazine Street will host a Legends by Romona Keveza trunk show June 5 and 6. Brides will have the opportunity to view gowns from the newest collection and a few others that they don’t typically have inside the store. An appointment is necessary and can be booked through the boutique’s website or by calling 504-891-1055.
Town and Country Bridal on St. Charles Avenue will host a Martina Liana Bridal designer preview show in the store June 5 and 6. Announced on the store’s social media, the show will feature never before seen gowns that won’t be available for other brides or stores for another year. Special incentives and prices will be applied, and an appointment is necessary. Appointments can be booked online at townandcountrybridal.com.
Not only did I Do Bridal Couture announce its reopening for private appointments, but the store will also host the newest collections from Neta Dover’s Couture and Finesse lines in the store June 18-27. In a social media post about the show, the store assured that all gowns will come at a great price point and show brides the latest trends in the bridal industry.
