A rare combination of risqué and bodacious, Bridge House/Grace House Mr. Legs XXV, presented by the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Foundation, brought together men who dared the runway and the fans who came to see them at Generations Hall on July 19.
All, of course, to raise some funds while having fun.
This year’s 14 contestants brought their creative A-game to the event by making ensembles and unique mise-en-scènes. Cheered on by emcees Laura Buchtel and Mike Hoss and the crowd, ultimately, the nine category winners were:
• Fan Favorite and Best Performance: Chris Kazik and Matt Shine (who performed together). It was Chris’s third time winning Fan Favorite and Best Performance, and Matt’s second time winning Fan Favorite.
• Best Costume: Steve Carnes (11th time winning Best Costume.)
• Rookie of the Year: Jonathan Burke
• Sexiest Legs: David Theriot
• Hairiest Legs: Jeffery Carlson (Sixth time winning Hairiest Legs.)
• Skinniest Legs: Ryan Haydel. (Third time Ryan winning Skinniest Legs.)
• Mr. Legs Legacy (Lifetime Achievement Award): Roberto Espinoza
• Mr. Legs XXV: Steve Carnes. Mr. Legs is the contestant who raises the most money. Steve has been first runner up twice and second runner up three times, but this is his first time winning Mr. Legs. This was also his 20th year competing.
• Mr. Legs First Runner Up: Michael Zarou (sixth time winning) and Second Runner Up: David Theriot.
The judges were Malik Mingo, Vincent Giardina and Whitney Miller.
In addition to the runway, guests could also enjoy a performance from the Pussyfooters, food from Copeland’s and Nirvana, a Big Game Raffle and a 50/50 raffle, and a Kendra Scott pop-up, of which 20 percent went to Bridge House/Grace House.
Fun Fact: Starting in 2001 at the 735 Club on Bourbon Street, Mr. Legs featured 10 contestants and raised just over $5,700. In 2025, the organization celebrated 25 years of Mr. Legs at Generations Hall with 14 contestants and raising $130,000.
