Lambeth House celebrated a decade of providing care to the elder community on October 16, 2008 with a huge bash, “On Broadway – Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Lambeth House.” More than 200 guests arrived for the soirée, which included an open bar, wine and hors d’oeuvres created by Lambeth House Food and Beverage Director Stefanie Hosek and Executive Chef Manfred Hosek. Mariz Longoria decorated the home with beautiful Casablanca lilies and white orchids, while white lights and candles twinkled outside to illuminate the patio. The Dark Water Band played, Broadway show tunes of course, as well as hits from the 1940s and ’50s for revelers to dance the night away, with a closing number of an “Evening with Edith Piaf” for the grand finale. The event, co-chaired by Ellinor Howard and Peggy LaBorde and led by Stephen Moses, raised more than $50,000 for the Lambeth House Foundation, which is more than this event has ever drawn in in previous years.
