SAN FRANCISCO — A week after announcing he would give up his Heisman Trophy, Reggie Bush faces the prospects of being sidelined by injury as a New Orleans Saints running back.
Bush suffered a right leg injury on an attempted punt return during the fourth quarter of the Saints’ 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers Monday night. There was no immediate word on the nature or severity of the injury.
