How do you best collaborate with clients for a Design-Build project?
As we’ve been diving deeper into the Design Build industry, I’ve found that the best way to collaborate with clients is through open and honest communication. I like to kick things off with a chat to really get to know what they’re looking for and what their budget is. This helps us create a plan that feels just right for them.
Throughout the project, we make it a point to keep in touch with regular updates and check-ins. We want clients to feel like they’re part of the process, so I always encourage their feedback. It’s all about making sure we’re on the same page and that the final result matches their vision.
How have you been refocusing your commercial work to meet the needs of Louisiana communities during recent economic uncertainty?
As the real estate market has changed in recent years, we have had to adapt to these changes. The commercial side seems to be still strong in many areas, so we have shifted to accommodate more commercial work as well while still focusing on our residential clients. We work closely with a select few Architects and Designers who know our reputation and know our commitment to a great product.
Are there any custom-built projects of particular note or uniqueness that you’d like to share the details of?
We’re incredibly proud of many of our recent projects, and one large renovation uptown is nearing completion, which has us all buzzing with excitement. This project has been a labor of love for over two years, and we can’t wait to showcase the results!
When we first connected with the client, they were feeling frustrated with the initial plans from another architect. To turn things around, I reached out to one of our top architects, Lindsay Woolf. Her fresh perspective and innovative ideas breathed new life into the project, setting us on a path for success.
Collaboration was key, and we worked closely with designer Jane Dupuy to meticulously refine every detail and finish. Together, we’ve transformed the space into something truly special, and we’re thrilled to see it come to fruition.
