Some memorable projects include: a glass block kitchen wall perfectly aligned between the countertop and upper cabinets, a floating staircase embedded into an interior brick wall, a koi pond with clear acrylic pavers forming a walkway to the front entrance, and even a full-room skylight roof.
Has the recent economic uncertainty and strained housing market affected the way you approach and work with clients?
We’ve been fortunate in that the recent economic shifts haven’t significantly affected our business. Many of our clients are building their forever homes and are committed to quality and customization, regardless of short-term market fluctuations.
One way we support our clients is by offering a cost-plus contract structure, where we charge a fixed builder’s fee and the client has full transparency and control over the actual construction costs. It’s a great way to build trust and give clients peace of mind, especially in a changing market.
How would you advise a first-time home builder looking to create their dream home?
