What is the MLM Inc. story?
I founded MLM in 2005 in Florida, before moving to New Orleans in 2006 to help with storm recovery. Business snowballed from there, and eventually, we split into a residential division, MLM Custom Homes & Renovation, and a commercial division, MLM Commercial Construction.
How did you get your start in this industry?
When I was a kid in Poland, I loved building Legos and letting my imagination run wild. So naturally when I grew up, I wanted to keep right on building. Once I moved to America, I met my mentor in construction who took me under his wing and taught me the ins and outs of the business.
What does MLM Inc. specialize in?
We specialize in historic home renovations and custom new home construction throughout South Louisiana. We utilize cutting-edge project management software that gives our clients total project transparency, streamlined communication, and a superior client service experience.
How does MLM Inc. differentiate itself in a competitive market?
Our goal is to make the entire construction experience very easy for the client. We are a one-stop shop for design services, architectural drawings, and high-quality construction. We spend a lot of time in the pre-construction phase of the project so everything runs smoothly and efficiently once we begin. This allows clients to feel comfortable with the team before anybody swings the hammer. They trust us as a partner, not just a service provider.
Do you have any design inspirations that influence the work?
We take our design cues directly from our clients. Sometimes they know exactly what they want and other times we lean on our industry partners, designers and architects, to inspire and lead the design. We love historic timeless design as much as ultra-modern, and everything in between! We strive to keep up with trends and to continue learning new construction/installation techniques. That’s why our clients keep returning to us over the years and referring us to their friends and family.
