Jazz Fest favorite, Crawfish Monica, available this weekend
New Orleans, Louisiana—Chefs Alison Vega-Knoll and Andrew Knoll of Station 6 have announced they are reopening for take-out and delivery (through D’liveryNOLA) starting Thursday, April 23rd. Hours will be Tuesdays through Saturdays from 3 – 8 p.m. and orders can be placed online at station6nola.com to provide customers with contactless transactions. “We are so excited to be back and serving our friends and neighbors,” said Alison. “In honor of what would have been the first weekend of Jazz Fest, we are serving a family meal of Crawfish Monica this weekend. Look for it on our menu.”
The take-out and delivery menu includes everything from starters and salads to sandwiches and entrees, as well as some extras, dessert and even a kids menu. Featured starters are smoked fish dip, LA crawfish spinach dip and wildcat fish n’ chips. Salads include Ali’s wedge salad, kale salad and chop salad. Three hearty sandwiches on the menu are grilled lamb burger, fried chicken sandwich and grilled salmon tacos. Chef Alison is offering four entrees: seafood gumbo with Gulf shrimp, oysters and blue crab; and blackened drum, Gulf fish and softshell crab. With the latter three, a protein can be added, either grilled, fried or blackened shrimp, crispy oysters, jumbo lump crabmeat or Louisiana crawfish tails. Extras to add to your meal are shrimp, fried oysters, fries, Brabant potatoes and vegetables. Bread pudding is offered for dessert and the kids can eat fried catfish strips, fried or grilled shrimp or chicken tenders. Also available is a selection of red, white and sparkling wines, and draft and bottled beer.
