NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Vue Orleans is excited to announce a special Buy One Get One Free deal during Mardi Gras this year. Guests can get a free ticket of equal or lesser value for each ticket purchased for a limited time through Feb. 12. “We think everyone from the young to the young at heart should experience Mardi Gras,” said Michael Lienert, Vue Orleans’ general manager. “It is the greatest free show on earth, and Vue Orleans gives visitors a vast glimpse of the whole experience like never seen before.”
Start the Vue experience with a close-up view of tribes of Mardi Gras Indians as their intricately beaded ensembles explode from the screen in a burst of brilliant music, color, and plumage. The interactive Confluence of Cultures wall offers a high-tech look at king cake, house floats, the 610 Stompers, and more. In the Story Café, local culture ambassador Poppy Tooker and Chef Kevin Belton provide an interactive menu where guests can ‘order up’ the stories of 12 iconic New Orleans dishes, including king cake. Before leaving the second floor and heading to the top, dress up virtually in a masquerade ball gown, as a Mardi Gras jester or as a marching band member in the parade.
Tickets are priced at $29.95 during the Buy One Get One Free promotion, and the tickets must be redeemed on or before February 12th. The offer may be subject to blackouts.
