NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Weekends in New Orleans’ Bywater neighborhood just got better now that Bywater American Bistro (BABs) has introduced a $29 prix fixe brunch, available Saturdays and Sundays. The beloved neighborhood dining gem by Chef/Owner Nina Compton and Chef/Partner Levi Raines is now offering guests a tantalizing selection of their most exciting brunch dishes at an affordable price point.

The prix fixe offering, which requires entire table participation, includes choice of one appetizer, one brunch item, and one side. Appetizer selections include Breakfast Corndogs with cane syrup; Smoked Tuna Toast with Calabrian cream cheese and everything spice; and Chicken Liver Parfait with fresh berries and rye granola. Brunch dishes feature Hot Sausage & Cheese Sandwich; French Toast with rum caramel, banana, and pecan; and Lamb Neck Sandwich with cucumber yogurt, arugula and a pecan pepper sauce. Savory Sides include pork sausage; bacon; Rosti potatoes; grits and baked beans.

Make brunch boozy with a selection of signature cocktails including the Wake Up – Jameson Caskmates IPA, Fernet, Branca Menta, Borghetti coffee liqueur and grapefruit zest and the Dream On – Bombay Sapphire East, Galliano, Aquavit, orange and cream garnished with a toasted bay leaf. Unlimited mimosas are also available for $20.
