Jeff McCrory is president and co-owner, with his brother Greg, of New Orleans Coffee Company, producer of the popular, cold-brewed coffee concentrate, CoolBrew. McCrory recently joined forces with his old college friend, Adrian Simpson, who owns New Orleans Ice Cream Company. The two men created a new product that marries McCrory’s coffee with Simpson’s ice cream. The Cafe Bar is frozen coffee on a stick with a rich ice cream center. In this podcast, McCrory explains how his Cafe Bars are made and he describes the various flavors of these delicious, icy treats. He also recalls the early days of New Orleans Coffee Company when his high school friends gathered in the kitchen as Jeff’s dad, company founder Phil McCrory, used the young men as his first focus group.
