NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Alliance Française de la Nouvelle-Orléans is thrilled to announce Bastille Day Fête 2024, a spectacular celebration of French culture, set to take place on July 12 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year’s fête promises an unforgettable evening filled with vibrant entertainment, exquisite cuisine and a strong commitment to sustainability, all set within the historic and charming ambiance of New Orleans.
In honor of Bastille Day, you’re invited to immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry that defines France. This year’s event will feature a delightful musical performance by Pardon My French with special guest, Anna Laura Quinn. Their passionate French-inspired songs ensure that the evening remains filled with enchanting melodies and a festive atmosphere.
Adding to the evening’s allure, Alliance Française is excited to present a Silent Disco hosted by Dohm Collective. Attendees can choose between two channels and dance with personal wireless headphones, creating a unique and immersive experience.
A highlight of the Bastille Day Fête will be our highly anticipated Costume Contest. it is encouraged guests showcase their creativity and flair by donning their most imaginative French-inspired attire. Detailed rules and information about the contest are provided on our website, ensuring a fair and enjoyable competition for all participants.
This year, Alliance Française is particularly proud to emphasize its commitment to sustainability. The Bastille Day Fête 2024 will be greener than ever, as they encourage all guests to use reusable cups for their beverages. This initiative aims to significantly reduce the amount of non-biodegradable and non-recyclable waste generated during the event. By making these small but impactful changes, we hope to set a positive example for eco-friendly celebrations.
Admission to the event is attractively priced to ensure that everyone can join in the celebration. Pre-sale tickets are $5 for members of the Alliance Française or $10 for non-members through July 11th, and $15 at the door.
