Celebrating the Stars

Five Local “Rising Stars” – Neal Bodenheimer, Founder and Owner of Cure, LLP; Simone Bruni, Owner of The Demo Diva Demolition Co.; Robert LeBlanc, President, Founder and CEO of Lifestyle Revolution Group; Neel Sus, CEO of Susco Solutions, LLC and Touch Studios; and Lauren Thom, Creator and CEO of Fleurty Girl – were celebrated at the 9th Annual City Stars Soirée on Friday, November 11. The Soirée was chaired by Robby Moss and took place at the Junior Achievement Biztown located at the City Park Campus of Delgado Community College.

More than 275 guests enjoyed the musical styles of the local Bucktown All-Stars. A tarot card reader, a caricature artist and a photo booth each provided further entertainment. There was also a live auction featuring over 100 items, and the winner of the Ring-Hook game won an Apple iPad. More than 17 local restaurants catered food for the event.

Junior Achievement annually chooses five “Rising Star” candidates from the Greater New Orleans area that are under the age of 40 and display “strong entrepreneurial skills with high moral and ethical standards while taking full advantage of the American Free Enterprise System.” Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans Inc. aims to enable young people to gain economic success and does so by providing assistance to nearly 22,500 students statewide through summer camps, after-school programs and classrooms.
