Despite being a major city, New Orleans, as all its residents (non-natives and natives alike) know, is more of a small town. Although it’s nice to walk into your neighborhood bar or restaurant and know everyone’s name (and their personal business), sometimes junior high-style awkwardness isn’t as far behind us as we’d like to think.
