City of Gretna To Announce 2019 Gretna Heritage Festival 25th Anniversary Lineup

GRETNA, La (press release) – The City of Gretna will reveal the confirmed daily lineup for the 25th Annual Gretna Heritage Festival at a press conference on Thursday, July 11 at 10 a.m. at the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts located at 740 4th St.

Mayor Belinda Constant will announce the schedule for this year’s festival, running Friday, Sept. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 29.

This year’s festival celebrates the 25th anniversary and is determined to bring you the ultimate family experience this year with all of the festival favorites at a lower price.

Advance tickets will be sold and available through the GEDA office this year, thus eliminating the extra fees assessed to each sale. On-line and e-tickets will not be available, as they are not using Ticketmaster this year. Pre-sale ticket prices include $20 for a Single Day Pass, $60 for a 3-day Weekend Pass, and a new option of a Saturday/Sunday Pass for $40. Gate admission is also available, $25 for a Single Day admission, $60 for the 3-Day Weekend admission, and $40 for the new Saturday/Sunday admission. General admission for children 12 and under is free. On-sale date for advance tickets is to be announced.

In addition to lower ticket pricing, children 12 and under may enter the VIP tent at main stage for free with paying adults. VIP tent entry is not included in gate admission. Also new to the festival this year is the Latino Village. Located on the Riverfront, the Latino Village will include two stages for live music, dancing demonstrations and culturally inspired craft and food vendors featuring “Latin influenced cocktails and beers.”
