NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Garden enthusiasts are invited back to City Park to experience the 2023 Fall Garden Festival.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, and Sunday, Oct. 8, the New Orleans Botanical Garden will – once again – be alive with gardening gurus from all over the southeast when the Fall Garden Festival returns to New Orleans City Park. The two-day event features over 50 vendors exhibiting common and exotic plants as well as various gardening paraphernalia.
“There is no better time of year to stop and smell the roses than the fall,” said New Orleans Botanical Garden Director Paul Soniat. “And no better place to do so than the Botanical Garden. We’re excited to welcome back old friends, make some new ones, and just enjoy a wonderful weekend in the Park.”
Gardeners of all levels will experience everything the horticultural event has to offer including plant sales, educational programs, live music, arts & crafts, cooking demonstrations and the Botanical Garden itself, in all its vibrant fall glory. Specialists, Master Gardeners and New Orleans Botanical Garden personnel will also be on hand to answer all questions.
The annual fall festival is sponsored by the LSU AgCenter in cooperation with Metro Area Horticulture Foundation and City Park Conservancy. For more information, and to purchase tickets, visit NewOrleansCityPark.org.
