New Orleans Magazine honored some of the city’s brightest and accomplished women at its “Top Female Achievers” awards luncheon on July 11 at the W Hotel New Orleans. Ten dynamic women made the list this year: Tiffany Adler, Carolyn Elder,  Stacey Griffin, Michelle Ingram, Bronya Keats, Barbara MacPhee, Patricia Molina, Dionne Randolph, Tania Tetlow and Denise Thornton. All of these woman work in different fields and have become an inspiration to women and men of all ages. Their profiles were featured in the magazine’s July issue.

Carolyn Kolb was the speaker, and Camille Whitworth of WDSU presented the awards. Judy Reese Morse from the Lt. Governor’s office also bestowed honorees with a certificate of excellence from the state. Sponsored by the magazine, Fetzer Vineyards, Korbel California Champagne, Republic Beverage Company, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and W New Orleans, the event began with a lighthearted champagne reception and a raffle for a weekend at the hotel. The luncheon also raised money for the Grace House, an organization that is committed to care for chemically dependent women.
