Cochon Butcher and La Boulangerie Announce December Holiday Catering

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Chefs Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski’s Cochon Butcher and La Boulangerie are now taking holiday catering orders. The award-winning culinary team of the Link Restaurant Group has crafted catering menus featuring Butcher holiday favorites and La Boulangerie snacks & desserts for a holiday feast at home. Holiday meats and sides can be ordered online at by Wednesday, Dec. 20, and are available for pick-up on Friday, Dec. 23, from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Orders from the bakery can be placed at throughout the holiday season for pick-up with 48 hours notice.              

This year’s Cochon Butcher holiday catering menu favorites include marinated standing beef rib roast—ready to cook at home. Also available are Bell & Evans turkeys—smoked and ready to reheat and eat, brined, or boudin stuffed to cook at home, jambalaya stuffed chicken, smoked beef ribeye, and Butcher ham. Sides, soups, and bread are served in small and large sizes and include shrimp and eggplant dressing, broccoli and rice casserole, and chicken and sausage gumbo. House-made charcuterie and Cajun meats and sausages are also on the catering menu. Don’t forget to pick up some of our Butcher Boozy Eggnog. 

The La Boulangerie holiday catering menu brings back the yule log, available in small or large sizes. The yule log is a traditional French Christmas dessert that dates back to the 18th Century. This cake represents the yule log that families would burn on Christmas Eve for good luck in the year to come. Executive Pastry Chef/Owner Maggie Scales also offers festive holiday cookies; her banana bread makes delicious host gifts. The bakery’s holiday menu includes an extensive assortment of pies, tarts, cakes, snacks, and pantry items.
