Cocktail Cravings?

Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures. How do we socialize and sip our favorite cocktails if we have to social distance? Many people are using social media platforms to gather online, which has proven to be a fun time.

If you are able to get out and about for pick-up/take out, there are a few options that can keep us occupied with our favorite drinks.

Copper Vine (1001 Poydras St.) offers incredible deals, available for courtyard or curbside pick-up, Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Customers can get 20 percent off food, 50 percent off wine and beer, and half-priced wine bottles from the company’s Special Cellars List.

Cafe Degas ( 3127 Esplanade Ave.) offers big discounts on wine from 50 to 60 percent off for all pick up orders. They can also include wine selections on delivery orders. The wine list includes several whites, French reds and American reds – prices vary.

Felipe’s Taqueria ( 301 N Peters St.) is making it happen for all of us by offering frozen margarita’s to-go. You can choose from strawberry, mango or passion fruit in a pint container for $8.50, a half gallon container for $38, a full-gallon $75.00 or a quart container will cost you $15.00. You can also pick up a sealed bottle of wine or beer. Prices and selections vary on all orders. This is available all day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for curbside pick up or you can call in advance for immediate pick up.

The good news is most establishments that are open for food pick up, might also offer drinks to go. Just ask or call in advance. We hope y’all are staying safe and enjoying a great cocktail in the meantime.
