Color Inspiration: Turning Ultra Violet into the color of your 2018 wedding

On Dec. 8, we covered Pantone’s announcement of its 2018 Color of the Year, Ultra VioletThe new, intriguing hue is garnering high praise. A symbol of peace, mindfulness and confidence, the idea behind Ultra Violet was to provide a calming presence in the midst of a tumultuous 2017.

Though a color may not exactly change an entire social climate, it can affect the feeling or tone present throughout a happy event like a wedding.
Adding in this purple hue can be as easy as the color of your bridesmaid’s dresses, or employing it as a consistent theme throughout your ceremony, reception and beyond.

You can pop it into your flower arrangements by adding purple lavender or purple Monte Casino blooms. It even adds a nice touch as a table accent, be it a table runner, place card or napkin arrangement.
Below you’ll find a few of our favorite Ultra Violet matches.
