On Dec. 8, we covered Pantone’s announcement of its 2018 Color of the Year, Ultra Violet. The new, intriguing hue is garnering high praise. A symbol of peace, mindfulness and confidence, the idea behind Ultra Violet was to provide a calming presence in the midst of a tumultuous 2017.
Though a color may not exactly change an entire social climate, it can affect the feeling or tone present throughout a happy event like a wedding.
Adding in this purple hue can be as easy as the color of your bridesmaid’s dresses, or employing it as a consistent theme throughout your ceremony, reception and beyond.
You can pop it into your flower arrangements by adding purple lavender or purple Monte Casino blooms. It even adds a nice touch as a table accent, be it a table runner, place card or napkin arrangement.
Below you’ll find a few of our favorite Ultra Violet matches.
